Welcome to our first newsletter of the year! The past year, 2009, has been a year of highs and lows for all Australian companies as we’ve struggled to adapt to the economic climate.  Businesses which have weathered the storm will grow with great strength in 2010, and we wish you all the best!

Additional staff hired

100+ new Baintech products introduced

Our signature brand, Baintech, products continue to be highly successful, and even more products are being developed for launch in 2010.  You can view a full list of our Baintech, CTEK, Sinergex and Victron products on our new website.

World’s first CTEK eLearning program launched

In conjunction with our major supplier, CTEK, we introduced a very successful eLearning program through Battery World.  Now Battery World’s staff is using their increased knowledge to make even more CTEK sales.

Valuable relationships formed

We entered into relationships with a variety of great Australian companies, like ARB, Baxters, Club Assist, Shipcove and Opposite Lock, to make it easy for you to access our products.

‘Leading systems experts’ reputation secured

Our sales and technical staff took the lead in the leisure industry by being regarded as the leading experts in system design and knowledge in the low voltage industry.

Brand new look and feel website

How to self-install the CTEK D250S: by Justin Welsh

It really is simple to self-install the CTEK D250S.  That means your expenses are minimal compared to other onboard chargers which need expert installation and heavy gauge wiring.

Follow these simple instructions:

1. Mount the CTEK D250S closest to the battery you want to charge
2. Main battery cable into the D250S via 30 amp slow blowing fuse and 6mm automotive cable, from the starter battery
3. Positive out from the D250S to the positive of the auxiliary battery using 6mm automotive cable
4. Fit 2 earthing cables from both earths (negative posts) of auxiliary and starter batteries
5. Locate the temperature probe closest to the auxiliary battery
6. Job done!  Start your vehicle and within 45 seconds your D250S will be charging.
