Prevent mishaps with BAINTECH DC Fuse Blocks
Wednesday, 24 June 2009 00:00

IF you are looking for a fusing solution that won’t make you get your ‘wires crossed’ and provides coverage against fire and electrical shock, BAINTECH’s DC Fuse Blocks are a great choice.

Andrew Smith General Manager of Bainbridge Technologies, the company responsible for the BAINTECH range, said with fusing being such a critical part of an electrical system it was important to choose a product that provided safe connectivity and was simple to install.

“The main features and benefits of the BAINTECH Fuse Blocks are its ease of installation, reduced wiring time, safe connectivity, easier accessibility and a more professional look,” he said.

“If you are a bit of a DIY person then the Fuse Blocks are easy to install yourself; otherwise it is just as simple to get your auto-electrician to do the job.

“The Fuse Blocks are also suitable for all ATO/ATC automotive blade fuses, which are commonly used in RV, caravan, automotive and marine environments.

“They rate up to 30V DC and are capable of 30Amps DC per circuit with a 100Amp DC rating per Fuse Block, which is very powerful, but safety and quality are not comprised with the Fuse Blocks being made from reinforced poly carbonate plastic base and covered silver tin plated buses and fuse clips.

“The fuse stations are also numbered for easy reference and the way the Fuse Blocks are made allows for maximum conductivity for each circuit and connection, plus they come with a two year warranty.

Mr Smith said an accessory that came in handy alongside the Fuse Blocks was the BAINTECH Combination Fuse Tester & Puller which was designed for easy one-handed use.

“The Fuse Tester & Puller is able to test glass and blade fuses in or out of the Fuse Blocks and is for fuses in circuits up to a maximum of 24V.

“It’s handy because it has a light that glows when the fuse is still good to use and also makes it easy to pull and remove any fuses, plus it prevents fuse clip and holder damage.

The range of fuses The BAINTECH Combination Fuse Tester & Puller can extract include Low Profile Minifuses, Minifuses, Auto fuses and Maxi fuses.
